Refunds

If Data Mirror is not doing what you expected, email [email protected] with your receipt or Envato purchase code and what you are seeing. We aim to reply within two business days. In our experience most refund requests are a connection setting, a schema mapping or a version mismatch, and are quicker to fix than to refund.

You have 14 days from purchase to ask for a full refund, and you do not have to give a reason. Email us from the address you used at checkout, include your Gumroad receipt, and that is all we need.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Gumroad. Once approved, we initiate the refund within two business days; your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5–10 business days to post it. Any tax collected at checkout is refunded with the purchase price.

After 14 days we will still look at genuine problems — particularly if the Software does not work as described and we are unable to put it right — but it is at our discretion rather than an entitlement.

Envato is the seller, so refunds are handled by Envato under the Envato Market Refund Policy, not by us. In broad terms it covers an item that is materially different from its description, an item that does not work as described where we cannot put it right, and security or licensing defects that cannot be resolved.

You raise the request from your Envato account against the purchase, and Envato assesses it. We are notified and asked to respond, so anything you have already discussed with us helps. Because the policy is Envato's and can change, their page is always the authoritative version rather than this summary.

Buying the wrong item by mistake, no longer wanting it, or lacking the expertise to use it are generally not grounds for a refund. Nor is an incompatibility we disclose up front — the source and sink versions, Docker and Python requirements are all listed in the technical specifications on our home page and on the item page. Please check them before buying.

Hosting costs for the search engines or servers you run Data Mirror against are separate and are not refundable by us, Gumroad or Envato.

If a refund is issued, the licence granted under our Terms of Service ends. You must stop running the Software and delete the copies you hold. Your own data is unaffected — it never leaves your infrastructure, so there is nothing for us to delete or return.

This page describes how each channel works in practice. It sits alongside your rights under applicable consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 in India and the statutory rights of consumers in the EU and UK. Nothing here limits those rights.
