Where do I actually buy it?

Either channel — the software, the price and the licence are the same. Gumroad is our own storefront: it handles payment and tax, then emails you the files and your licence key. CodeCanyon is Envato's marketplace: Envato is the seller there, and you download from your Envato account. If you already have an Envato account, or want extended licensing, use CodeCanyon. Otherwise Gumroad is the quicker path.

Is this really one-time, or does it renew?

One-time. You buy the licence once and it does not renew — there is no subscription to cancel. Future updates to the item are included with your purchase.

The same terms either way: a single user may use Data Mirror to create an unlimited number of end products, including client projects. What no licence permits is redistributing or reselling the software itself. What do I need to run it?

Docker and Docker Compose, Python 3.9 or newer, and a PostgreSQL 12+ or MySQL 8.0+ source. No external message broker is needed — a lightweight broker is built in. If you already run Kafka and Debezium, you can route through those instead for high-throughput setups. Everything runs on your own hardware or inside your VPC.

Are there any other costs?

Not to us — the licence is the only thing you pay, once. But Data Mirror syncs into search engines you run yourself. Meilisearch, Elasticsearch and OpenSearch are free and open source, though hosting them on cloud infrastructure or using a managed service will carry its own separate costs. The same goes for the server you run Data Mirror on.

What if it does not work for me?
